As a Compassion advocate, I am well aware of the benefits of child sponsorship or I wouldn't be an advocate! But recently there was an article written in the Journal of Public Economy about a study conducted by an independent researcher, who holds a doctorate in economics, that confirms that child sponsorship is indeed as effective as we think.
